These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the WelcomeGuest platform, including our website at welcomeguest.info, our web dashboard, and our Android TV application (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Serenport Information Technology Inc. ("we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of Service

WelcomeGuest is a hospitality technology platform that allows property hosts ("Hosts") to display personalized welcome screens on Google TV Streamer devices connected to their properties. The Service enables Hosts to manage welcome content, guest information, WiFi credentials, house rules, and other property-related information remotely through a web dashboard.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

4. Subscription Plans and Payment

WelcomeGuest offers the following subscription plans:

All plans include unlimited properties and access to all features. Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

Free Trial: New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with access to 1 TV device. No credit card is required to start a trial. After the trial period, a subscription is required to continue using the Service.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial periods.

Price Changes: We may change subscription prices with 30 days notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

As a Host, you are responsible for ensuring that your use of guest data complies with applicable privacy laws, including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable US state privacy laws.

Guest data entered by Hosts is automatically cleared from TV devices at checkout. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more information on how we handle data.

7. Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service, including welcome messages, background images, house rules, and property information ("Host Content"). By uploading Host Content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to all Host Content you upload, and that it does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

We reserve the right to remove any Host Content that violates these Terms.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services including:

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

The WelcomeGuest Android TV app displays shortcuts to streaming services (Netflix, YouTube, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+) and provides access to the Google Play Store. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for these streaming services. Guest streaming accounts and any apps installed by guests are the responsibility of the guest.

9. Device Requirements

The WelcomeGuest TV app is designed for use with Google TV Streamer 4K devices. You are responsible for:

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, logos, and content created by us, is owned by Serenport Information Technology Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without our express written consent.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

The guest checkout wipe feature is provided as a convenience. We do not guarantee that all guest data, streaming account credentials, or installed applications will be completely removed from devices at checkout. Hosts are responsible for verifying that devices are properly reset between guest stays.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SERENPORT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Serenport Information Technology Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your Host Content, or your violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or if we determine, in our sole discretion, that your use of the Service is harmful to us, other users, or third parties.

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and contacting us at support@welcomeguest.info. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered Hosts of material changes by email at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York.
